With Dedication, Golf Weight Training Will Improve Your Power, Accuracy and Range

Golf has long been described as a predominantly mental sport. Nearly anyone of any age can participate in the same game and still have a chance to win (so long as they are no playing against the professionals). While you should work out your whole body for a great game of golf, many doctors recommend that any golf weight training you do needs to be based around toning up the abdomen, lower back, hips and shoulders. With these muscles built to decent amounts, your will greatly reduce soreness and chance for injury during an eighteen hole game of golf. It is also important to increase your stamina and walking ability through golf weight training if you are an individual who enjoys walking the course instead of enlisting the help of a golf cart.

While golf weight training is extremely important to help you stay in shape for your golf matches; focusing on flexibility is also of great benefit. This can be done simply by stretching before a game and taking several practice shots at the start of each hole.
